The Club has the following equipment, which is available for members' use.

Flying Fifteen Sailing Dinghies.  The Flying Fifteens are very safe boats but are high performance, and thus members wishing to use them must be trained or have proof of experience.  Members are expected to provide their own lifejackets and safety equipment and boats are taken out at members risk.  Any damage which occurs however small must be reported / logged in the Flying Fifteens log book.  Once approved, use is on an ad-hoc basis.  Club members are appointed with responsibility for Flying Fifteen maintenance.  The cost of use of the Flying Fifteens is set on an annual basis to cover repairs and maintenance.

3 Laser "Pico" Sailing Dinghies. The Picos have been purchased primarily for the training of the younger  members of the Club but are also available for older beginners, and for fun racing on Club days.  Use is only on planned event days or with prior arrangement with the Commodore.  A safety boat must be available when Picos are sailed.

Club Safety Boat. In February 2006 the club purchased a safety boat in order to facilitate the dinghy sailing programme.  The boat is a 4.7 m Zodiac Rib, with a 60 HP Evinrude Etec outboard. Use of safety boats will be restricted to those with the relevant training.

Sewing Machine. The Club has an industrial  sewing machine which is available for use for sail repairs and suchlike.  Before using the machine, members must be instructed in its safe use and should contact the Commodore.

Moorings The Club maintains a trot of moorings for the Flying Fifteens.  There are no visitors moorings at present, but some are expected to be provided by the Peir Trustees in the future.  Single point moorings are the individuals own responsibility, but are regulated by an independent moorings association linked to the Crown Estate.
